Dojo APV: Cuna de Campeones

El Karate-Do Shotokan que se practica en el Ateneo Popular de Versalles es de estilo tradicional. Su enseñanza data del año ´88, cuando el Sensei Justo Gómez comienza a dar clase a un puñado de alumnos principiantes. Con el pasar del tiempo estos alumnos pasarían a ser referentes del Karate no solo de Argentina sino de también de Sudamérica.
Hoy, desde hace más de una década, el Dojo es dirigido por el Sensei Alfredo Mingrone, 2º Dan de JKA (Japan Karate Asociation).
Con una nutrida concurrencia de alumnos, entre los cuales se destacan 3 cinturones negros, 4 marrones y un semillero de pequeños karatecas que en breve darán que hablar en los torneos.
En el pasado mes de Diciembre de 2009, se ha realizado el torneo anual Metropolitano, que como cierre del año realiza AES (Asociación de Escuelas Shotokan) en el APV. Entre los alumnos que participaron se encuentran:
• Federico Gerhardt (1º Dan – Cinturón negro): Kata y Kumite
• Damian Kestenbaum (1º Kyu – Cinturón marrón): Kata (1º puesto) y Kumite
• Walter Lotockyj (2º Kyu – Cinturón marrón): Kumite (3º puesto)
• Javier Nitti (4º Kyu – Cinturón azul): Kata (2º puesto) y Kumite (1º puesto)
• Gabriela Fiamingo (8º Kyu – Cinturón naranja): Kata (2º puesto) y Kumite
Saludamos a todos los participantes y sus logros, ya que han representado al APV ante más de 90 inscriptos.
Además se rindieron los exámenes de fin de año, promoviendo a los alumnos un paso más en la escala del aprendizaje de nuestro arte, destacando la obtención del 1º Dan (cinturón negro) del alumno Damián Kestenbaum. Desde aquí nuestras felicitaciones a todos.
